Steak on Sunday...

A couple of weeks ago my friends and I trekked to Soho, London to take in the Chinese New Year celebrations.
Busy, is an understatement... they certainly celebrated in style, it was nice taking in a different culture in my own country. Getting there too late to contribute in the parties, we went for dinner in Covent Garden instead (mainly because we felt bad having Chinese only 2 days previously). So I had a steak, and ever since have been craving another one.
It was a nice Sunday evening; good food with good company, what else could a girl ask for? ♥

Miller and Carter...

A favourite meal that this family has are Steaks, so when the opportunity to have a free meal arrived- we sure as hell took it! And what a lovely meal it was. As I've never been to Miller and Carter before, it was nice to see around Birmingham Broad Street for a cocktail before dinner. I do like steak, but not a huge fan- and if I've not already told you guys, I am a lover of burgers and try to find an amazing one whenever I can. Unfortunately I forgot my camera this night, so hope the phone pics will suffice. Thanks Miller & Carter ♥

The Cotswolds Countryside...

A few weeks ago my family and I decided to walk the dogs in the Cotswolds area near where we live, lots of green basically! The dogs loved it and it was nice to be outside in the fresh area looking over fields- especially as I know in a few weeks I will be looking at concrete and buildings and very little countryside! ♥

The Clothes Show...

On Tuesday me and a friend went to the Clothes Show Live together at the NEC in Birmingham. For all you non-Uk'ers (yes I did just write that- awful english), the Clothes show is a yearly event that lasts 5 days in December which is held at a concert hall in England holding more than 200 stalls of retailers, designers, botiques and University fashion, Jewellery and make up products being sold. These exist of one off clothing botiques, vintage clothes stalls, shoe stalls and loads more. It was my first time attending but I know loads of friends who have been before and it used to be on the TV too (I miss it). It was an overwhelming day. We were there for about 6-8 hours, as it was the last day of the event lots of the stuff was being discounted to get rid of their stock. As well as these stalls there was of course a runway show with local retailers and designer clothes being modeled for thousands of girls to have the pleasure of watching. My camera is on its way out so I got hardly any photos that I was hoping for :( A proper Camera for Christmas please? Despite the failing camera, It was such an amazing day I had so much fun and can't wait for next year ♥

Definitely recognise this model but don't know what from- hence the many pictures, do you know who he is or what work he's done?
And of course, you can't close a clothes show without doing the gangnam dance.

Unfortunataley David Gandy didn't model;very disapointed. But I have to admit- it was a good show.

When superheros meet...

A few weeks ago I was wonder woman. As it was a friends birthday, a suprise party was made and set up by his girlfriend; my work colleague and friend. So glad I went -who knew superheros could have so much fun? Pictures pretty much do the talking, when catwoman, Mrs Flash and Captain-ess America get together great things happen

Eating in style...

Last week was my brothers graduation, and we as a family as well as my brothers girlfriend and her family had dinner together in a beautiful restaurant/club called 'The Grand Café'.
Although dinner was average and overpriced, I think the decor and environment made up for it. It was very lovely. Unfortunately I forgot my camera that evening so you'll have to make do with my phone pictures- sorry! ♥

The last supper...

Last night, us 12 girls (my closest friends and I) had a fairwell meal at a fancy restaurant as 7 of them are going to University this year, 3 of us are going next year and 2 of them are going into full time work it seemed as though this was the last time we'd all be together. As 12 is a big group I think it's going to be hard to stay as close as we are when we live apart and across the country. I love them so much and wish them will and hope to stay in contact for as long as possible. I can't believe we're all official adults now and have to stand on our own two feet, live our own life, make our own mistakes and choose our own path. It's very scary and really sad to be leaving that chapter of my life. I have another year of college to go however so I know it's going to be a hectic one and kind of hoping it goes by quite quick so I can officially be my own person. To all my lovelies starting a new chapter that may be scary, sad or/and stressful- Good luck, I love you and wish you all so much happiness! ♥

I'm better again...

Sorry I've been MIA for a week, I had food poisoning which is always lovely and was literally in bed for 48 hours straight, which I never do- I atleast move to the living room or get comfort food from the Kitchen. However from all this I lost half a stone! ...But of course this has all been put back on now due to my appetite coming back and my chocolate and coke cola fetish being restored. And now I'm better again :) And just to show you how well I'm eating again I display my desert from our girly dinner last night ... ♥

Night Out...

So I'm sick. I have a nasty cold and as a result I am wrapped in a blanked with tissues and chocolate watching dopey romantic films instead of getting ready for a night of drinking and clubbing. But since I'm forced to stay in, here is what I could have worn for a night out.
For me, legs have to be on show, I'm not one to where leggings and jeans when going dancing so dresses, skirts and shorts are my go-to bottoms. The downside to dresses is you can only wear it once or twice a year, where as with skirts and shorts all you have to do is change the top and heels and you've got a brand new outfit, but with a dress it is the 'safe' option and the most girliest! There are too many pretty dresses for me to show you so until another post, here I am just going to show you what looks good on the bottoms. Take a look at what's in store if you're looking for inspiration ♥

The Bodycon Skirt

Available at H&M  (Picture one & Two) or with some glitter available at Topshop

The Pleated Skirt

Available at Forever21 (Picture one and two) or with block colour pink available at miss selfridges

Sequins and lace shorts

Sparkly, sexy sequin shorts are just the perfect party wear, get some like Nicole Scherziner from ASOS

So gorgeous, lace must be the girliest fabric around and I can't wait to get myself a pair of lace shorts like these from River Island.
