Procrastinating....

I don't think I'm one of those people who can do the same thing too long... actually it's a fact.
I get bored. Easily when I'm having to do something again and again that is unapologetically dull.
As you've probably guessed I'm bored. And found myself here. Distracted? Procrastinating? Both. Yes. Doing college work is so boring. writing the same thing over and over again. I have had a week to do this and always find myself doing it last minute, I must thrive on pressure. Actually I think it's just knowing there is no way of getting out of it tonight- must be done. I even managed to bake muffins in this time. Wow I'm bored.
Help me. Follow me, talk to me, tell me about you!
Answer below to stop my boredom ♥
  1. Single or attached?
  2. Living in..?
  3. Favourite movie?

  5. What were you doing 5 minutes before you started typing your answers to this post?

SS13 Trends...

If you haven't noticed already, the trends for Spring/Summer 2013 are beginning to make an appearance in the shops and this season they are very bright, bold and stand out just a tad- isn't that what this sunny time is all about?
I love Autumn colours; the scarves and boots, and of course Christmas and snow in Winter with wellies and hats but the Summer is my favourite. I like the Spring build up to Summer and I'm looking forward to the exciting things happening this year. Of course 2012 had the olympics and girls holiday which was unforgettable but every year is a new adventure.
I narrowed it down to 4 of the trends for this SS13, I didn't include the trend of 60's and 90's that's coming this year as well as stripes, even though I can't wait to see them in the shop. I wonder if I will be buying in to these following trends, I'm kinda warming to paisley- beautifully random ♥

Lots of Patterns/Paisley;

Blouse- Asos

Shiney/Metallic;
Skirt-   Rare
Dress- Lashes of London

Neon is back;
Jeans-     H&M
Sweater- Topshop

Bolder = Better...

I bought this dress. It was meant for my Birthday, but couldn't resist it for New Years Eve. I loved it on the website, I loved it when I tried it on. And looking at it in my wardrobe I still love it. I think it's because of the bright unusual colour that stands out from the crowd, the orginial cut of the waist and across the neck not showing too much flesh and the slightly puffiness of the skirt.
Hope you like it just as much as I do ♥
-excuse the poor quality photos from my phone + drunken state of entering 2013=blurry.

Boyfriend Jeans...

Yay! I love this style. Definitely can't wait to invest in this item this Spring!
Since I saw Rachel Bilson wear hers (kind of a statement of hers) I've always wanted to grab a pair. Such a casual look with intense style makes an outfit orginial and laid back. Seeing others follow my obsession I can't wait to join in the trend ♥

Rachel Bilson, Zoe Salanda, Rosie Huntington Whitely.

Dogs on Ice...

You know how parents are obsessed with their kids when it comes to photographs and videos, when you have dogs it's sort of similar- especially when you don't really like kids.
A quick post because it is snowin! So as I go play, enjoy the video starring Oscar (de la renta?) and Louis (vuitton... of course I didn't name them after designers..) ♥

The Itinerary...

As I've spoken before, me and a friend are taking a trip through Europe to Italy for 3 weeks in July. I'm so excited, it definitely will be a once in a life time/one to remember trip and I definitely am counting down the days. We've decided to take the train to Paris from the UK, spend a few days there then journey to Switzerland to spend a day in the capital, Bern and take the next 2 weeks in the beautiful cultured country, Italy. We've put together a little list that I'm sure will be extended as the months go on. For now I'm just going to give you taster to what's on the list ♥
  1. Eat baguettes on the grass facing the Eiffel Tower, Paris.
  2. Go window-shopping in the city (try not to buy designer stuff- this includes Louboutin heels!) Paris
  3. Try snails and froglegs- even if it sounds grossly off-putting, Paris.
  4. Go on the canal ride in Central Martins, Paris.
  5. Go wild on chocolates in Switzerland.
  6. Go on a bike ride to see the stunning landscape in Switzerland.
  7. Do a romantic boat ride on the canals in Venice
  8. Buy a painting, Venice
  9. Visit Juliets balcony in Verona
  10. Have our homemade proper Italian Pizza for dinner, Verona
  11. Have Italian coffee in the city where Starbucks CEO was inspired, Milan
  12. Have cocktails in a swanky bar, Milan
  13. Find a bargain Italian made bag from a flea market, Milan
  14. Take a bus tour around Rome
  15. Visit the Collaseum, Rome
  16. Throw a coin into the Trevi Fountain, Rome
  17. Take a horse and carriage ride after Pasta, Rome
  18. Try every flavour of Gelato, Rome
  19. Sunbathe next to the Ocean, Naples.
  20. Screw the train and get a flight home, Naples.

Happy Birthday to me...

Saturday was my birthday. Can't remember the last time I had the day off for my birthday. So it was filled with lots of laziness, and time to 'play' with my presents- just like the child at heart that I am.
Extremely happy and thankful for my new SLR camera from my family as well as a massive Fashion bible book to take with me to University. Couldn't believe how amazing my family were and made me a very happy girl ♥

My week...

On Monday, I had a one-off movie day snuggled with my mum.
On Tuesday, I drove the dogs to a nearby forest/field for a long walk, after it had been slowly raining that day, when moving out of the way for a car to get past, I ended up slowly getting further and further stuck in a ditch. It took my father, my brother and his friend with his mercedes to pull my car out. Worst day. Never again.
On Wednesday, I got my hair highlighted and cut- which I regret as she gave me a bloody fringe, I did not want one! I'm not 12. Then she continued cutting and i now have super short hair. Not good at all. After that disaster, I went out for a girly dinner with the girls. Really Lovely.
On Thursday, back to college. My three week Christmas holiday finally ended. Humpf. It was a long day.
Friday, I had a road trip to where my un-delivered package was waiting for me and later I'm out for early-birthday-drinks with the guys from College.
Saturday...is my 19th Birthday. Ahh! Why is it that up to your 18th Birthday you can't wait for your birthday, but after that mileston you can't get further away from your birthday. Is it me, or is it going too fast now. I don't want to grow up!

Hope your week had less dramas then mine, and that un-like mine you're 2013 is going well with lots of fun and happiness♥

Style Crush of the Week....

Emma Stone.
The very witty, down to earth actress is quickly becoming the most popular actress at her age. Not only does she pull off sexy with her beautiful looks and raspy voice, she pulls off stylish extremely well.
When I'm asked 'who are your style icons' or 'who inspires you in fashion', I don't tend to follow celebs and pop stars, everyone sees something or follows someone and even though in what my future career will 100% be all about, I don't tend to follow trends in my fashion style. I like what is comfortable, what looks fresh, bright and still fits in. And I believe Emma has this somewhat similarity.
When not in an all one colour feminine dress on the red carpet, she's casual in jeans, flats and a blazer. She does comfortable in the way I follow. And I admire her in that she knows what she suits, what she likes and is not going to change into something different despite her career or purse size. I believe being you is the best character you can be, and she definitely pulls that off pretty damn well ♥

Jeans, Flats and a jacket= Your're suited for anywhere in the day.

A girly dress in one colour- can not go wrong, as long as you have great heels to match; no accessories needed. Simply elegant.

Booties...

My boots are on the way out, they've been a gorgeous perfect pair keeping my feet cosy and warm this past year. But to replace them I can't decide if I want chunky heel ankle booties or knee high flat boots.I think my style is very fickle and when I see something I like I want to wear it right away. Hopefully I'll come to some decision and have luck on my side to find a cute pair to follow my trusted oldies ♥

2012 for the last time...

It's officially 1st January 2013. I can't quite believe it as it still feels only half a year in to 2012. As every year has ups and downs 2012 has been one to remember for a lifetime, especially being a Brit it sure is special. While I look forward to this year ahead, the new challenges, differences and scary changes it's exciting to know how my life is developing but also very fightening to know how fast I'm growing up- that's life I guess. One important thing I'm thankful for and looking forward to advancing this year is my little special blog. There may be thousands of them, some more popular than others and some never even looked at, but as a document of my life and the little world around me I thank you for looking, liking and sharing it with me. Let 2013 be an amazing year for you and open you to new experiences and life worthy excitement.

Celebrating New Years with my best friend and our close friends, one of which I have spent the past 3 NYE's with her and her boyfriend- "Kind of romantic" he told me.
I turned 18; officially an adult and legal to do the things I had already done for a few years before...

12 girls, one unforgetable fun holiday with my favourites.
Goodbye meal to the girls going off to University and not seeing each other every week like normal. This was a dinner with lots of tears.
My big brothers graduation was a very proud moment, for him to succeed so well of course makes me look up to him as someone to follow.
The last December home led to a quiet time with the family.

Hope 2013 will bring you much joy and happyness, but most of all; Love ♥
