Capes..
Love them or hate them, they're everywhere. From designer to high street, Capes/Wraps are the AW14 trend item- they now have there own subheading on most retail websites! And with the UK's unpredictable weather it is a very clever design to layer up without being too hot!

SS14 Fashion Trends; My Summary...
So excited for the summer (especially the weather) and the fashion trends this year, they're with styles I love; femininity, colour and fresh.
Here is my summary of my favourite trends to look forward to and the styles to grab on to this Spring/Summer! ♥
Here is my summary of my favourite trends to look forward to and the styles to grab on to this Spring/Summer! ♥
- Crop top and the Midi.
A trend that has strengthened from SS13 and AW13 I'm sure this Summer will be at the height of this trend so tone up those tummies to show them off! Definitely a favourite of mine as it's paired with one of my favourite garments the midi skirt, either pencil skirt or 50's flare it's pure beautiful.
- Arty
Designers got creative for this Spring Sumer with the inspiration of the paintbrush, strongly seen on the catwalk designs here by Prada and Celine (below). Keep your eyes peeled for many imitations this season, below are just a couple from the high street by Zara and River Island.
- Sporty
Another trend going stronger then ever this season is the androgynous look of the sporty luxe. Whether it is a pair of tailored trousers or a bomber jacket, paired with heels or flats its comfy chic at its best.
- White, Pastels, Monochrome and YELLOW
Already mentioned white above and my favourite colour scheme Pastels which comes hand in hand with Spring like floral prints. Monochrome has made another comeback this year whether it's a black and white print or teaming both colours together you can definitely be trendy with this look. My favourite of all the colours this season however is the zesty yellow! Not really done as it's such a strong and daring colour for people, but after being sick of black on black I love how colourful and lively this mellow colour is bringing life into collections in stores! Have fun with it ♥

London Fashion Week/ LFW...
Unfortunately I didn't get into the designers catwalks in London Fashion week as I was at home. However, I did attend London Fashion Weekend which showed a designer a day, including one of my favourite- Julien Macdonald, and a trend show. Although I did have a great day, followed by a lovely meal and martinis, don't think I would pay the same again and just try to sneak in to the real thing in September! ♥

Pure...Part 1
Last week I attended Pure, London. An exhibition held in Kensington hosting hundreds of stalls of designers collections promoting to fashion Buyers, Stylists and boutique owners. Not only were there lots of clothes to see but there were also many seminar shows for fashion businesses such as trend talks, how to dress body shapes, enhancing your business, technology techniques, catwalk shows and loads more! It was my first time at Pure and definitely not my last, I thoroughly enjoyed the day and picked up on a few useful tips. Can't wait to return ♥

A Good Pair of Jeans...
Every fashionista has about 10. At least.
My most worn pair is my trusty Topshop black pair. Black goes with everything, so easy to pair it with- so if you're looking to get a statement garment, that would be it.
2014's jean trend already?
The Boyfriend Jean;
I've already mentioned my love for these in post#1 and found my favourite in post#2, and they are coming back better than ever this year. They're definitely a rebellious choice on the traditional skinny jeans we've all been living in. Although I would be hesitant to wear my boyfriend jeans in winter, (I find them more of a sandal, wedges and heel outfit) you definitely can! I have even been living in them this winter because they're so comfy and with my heeled boots they look good. If you haven't got a pair already, I would recommend them for this spring.
The other jean trend I am in love with and in-hunt for right now;
The Leather-look;
Not necessarily jeans but any leather/leather-look trousers, jeans and leggings. I have a pair of pvc leggings and they are great at adding a sexy/edgy/original look to your outfit. However if you are looking for an everyday look I'd pick up a pair of wet-look/pvc/or even leather (if feeling brave) trousers/jeans, like me- I want to wear them more with different looks to spice up my wardrobe. ♥
