Happy St. Patricks Day!!

 

Yesterday I had a great day. I spent a beautiful sunny Sunday in Trafalgar Square, London with thousands of others doing the exact thing; celebrating St. Patricks day. It is today but of course, this is England and it's a Monday so you couldn't close the roads and cause such a riot on a weekday. The weather was gorgeous, my company was great and the day was lovely! I've never really celebrated this Irish tradition but since I'm in England's capital I knew a lot of Irish wouldn't want to let it pass, so I followed the leprechauns in the parade and had a swell time- looking forward to next year! ♥

I'm pretty sure the main reason for its high amount of views is that it shows the fine line between awkwardness and romance. I have no doubt butterflies were in their stomachs from nervs and possibly more. What do you think of the video? Definitely something different from the cliches of 21st century videos ♥

Hello Spring...

Today was a beautiful day.

The first day of spring.

Daffodils and daisy's are in full bloom, the smell of freshly cut grass is in the air and the sun is now at the perfect temperature where you can wear sleeveless tops and sandals! Sandals! I loved it and for the first time in a long time, I welcome Spring with no hurry for summer-
just stay lovely Spring! ♥

London Fashion Week/ LFW...

Unfortunately I didn't get into the designers catwalks in London Fashion week as I was at home. However, I did attend London Fashion Weekend which showed a designer a day, including one of my favourite- Julien Macdonald, and a trend show. Although I did have a great day, followed by a lovely meal and martinis, don't think I would pay the same again and just try to sneak in to the real thing in September! ♥

The countdown to the 12th of January was my final days of being a teenager. As scary as it was to leave that chapter of my life, I am excited for what this decade will bring.
I have always planned things but have learnt throughout my teens, that doesn't always work out. Having high expectations can only end in huge disappointment, taking advantage can one day leave you lonely and not giving your best will always fill you with regret.

I try not to make new years resolutions as I don't know how my life will plan out- that's part of the fun.

Not knowing the destination is daunting. Not having the reassurance things will work out favourably is worrying. But while you stay scared and unknown time will pass within seconds and the years meant for fun, memories and experiences will be lost. So it's not about what you expect from yourself, what you think you will be doing, it's about the journey you take to get there. As long as it's a happy one where I am feeling satisfied, I know I'll be okay. Like one of many; I'm just a 20-something girl, following my dreams and laughing along the way ♥
