Style Crush of the Week...

Clémence Poésy.

I have to admit, I was not familiar with this lady until recently and what I was drawn to the most was her classic undefined style. I think it helps that she's French, and that nationality's fashion style is elegant and effortless and admirable by far.
As well as being drop dead gorgeous, her style is similar to what I love; contemporary, comfortable and simple. As an actress and model she isn't one to show off designer clothes and fashion trends. She knows what she likes, what suits her look and what looks sexy without even trying. And quoted from the stylish beaut herself; "Life's way too beautiful and fascinating to spend time on fashion rules" ♥

Style Crush of the Week...

Miranda Kerr.
She's a beautiful model, a mum to the cutest baby, and wife to the gorgeous Orlanda Bloom. Jealous? Yes, *sigh* me too. I honestly believe she is a lovely down to earth career woman who happens to be extremely well style, of course. Well styled in a non-pompus, comfortable and chic way. She is what I admire in fashion; someone who is comfortable to wear something practical and yet so in trend to suit herself. From a daily outfit of jeans and a sweater bright pumps and a accessorised hat can be pulled off by anyone but put together through her creativity. Definitely a style to be admired, followed and adored from the looks of Miranda Kerr ♥

Casual, comfortable and oh so chic. A model that I for once admire her style, classy and convenient and without splurging my hard earned money- simples

Style Crush of the Week....

Emma Stone.
The very witty, down to earth actress is quickly becoming the most popular actress at her age. Not only does she pull off sexy with her beautiful looks and raspy voice, she pulls off stylish extremely well.
When I'm asked 'who are your style icons' or 'who inspires you in fashion', I don't tend to follow celebs and pop stars, everyone sees something or follows someone and even though in what my future career will 100% be all about, I don't tend to follow trends in my fashion style. I like what is comfortable, what looks fresh, bright and still fits in. And I believe Emma has this somewhat similarity.
When not in an all one colour feminine dress on the red carpet, she's casual in jeans, flats and a blazer. She does comfortable in the way I follow. And I admire her in that she knows what she suits, what she likes and is not going to change into something different despite her career or purse size. I believe being you is the best character you can be, and she definitely pulls that off pretty damn well ♥

Jeans, Flats and a jacket= Your're suited for anywhere in the day.

A girly dress in one colour- can not go wrong, as long as you have great heels to match; no accessories needed. Simply elegant.

Style Crush of the week...

Jennifer Lopez... J Lo... Jenny From the block.

Everybody has to be reminded of her age; 43! Can you believe it?
Dancer and Singer and Actress and once Fiance to 3, but Wife to 2 and Mother of 2. Then after giving birth and raising her twins, she still made movies and started singing again at 40- looking as hot as she did 20 years earlier. She's still got it.
After she divorced her last husband not long ago I remember watching a video of her singing in concert ( I think ) where she broke down and I felt for her. Here's a woman that's worked her ass off to make a life for herself and the best one she could. Shes so strong and talented but so human too. Seeing her in interviews, in movies and on stage you can see she's nothing but down to earth, humble and appreciative of her life and I believe she deserves the best.
Heres to another 43 years of Jennifer Lopez from the Bronx, staying stylish, loving and herself ♥
She loves her lace up booties in picture 1 & 2. And shows off her killer figure in picture 3 & 4.
And just for fun, here she is on Ellen- playful, full of humour and a laugh. Enjoy ♥

Actual model material...

Mr David Gandy.

There are always things I moan about in Britain; the weather, the Government, the trashy tv (yes I am talking Eastenders) but more often that not, other things do make me very proud; Fashion of all things is my number one. And as well as the eclectic street styles and globally successful designers of Burberry and Stella McCartney, are the just as important (and just as fabulous) world known talented models. And one British model, a Gent no doubt, is the fabulous David Gandy- aka 'The white pants guy' due to his very successful, well known work with Dolce and Gabbana- sexy advert no?
At the London Olympics closing ceremony, as it was British themed, models were included into the show such as Kate Moss, Lily Cole, Naomi Campbell, Georgia Jagger and of course himself, the most successful male supermodel, David Gandy. Aswell as being obviously handsome, he has beautiful taste in fashion and writes his own blog on Vogue.co.uk. It's not very often that men are noticed for their fashion. Not to be sexist, but traditional. Men have strength and brains, women can multitask and know what shoes look good with an outfit- most of them. However, when in a sea of hoodies and trainers it is noticed when a fitted jacket with well polished brogues appear. It is rare, it is impressive and it's very attractive. So, of course, the pictures included are to show off David's tailored smart style and fashionable sense, that I believe all men should take note from... its just a perk that he's pretty

Mr Gandy looking sharp in his casual wear, with the popular item being a classic pair of jeans.

And of course looking dapper in a suit, wearing a waistcoat and handkerchief in jacket pocket is very 1950's fashion- I love ♥

Style Crush of The Week...

Jennifer Lawrence
The Hunger Games came out last friday and although I have never read the books or showed any interest in the trailers advertised on T.V, I have become increasingly drawn to Jennifer Lawrence these last couple of weeks. I am watching The Hunger Games tomorrow so hopefully the fantasy and high expectations, from what the reviewers have persuaded me with, will live up to the reality but even though the witty American Actress has got talent she also has style. She was also on my last Months cover of Glamour; issue March 2012, and throughout the interview she was laidback, normal and cool within her own skin. Aswell as having obvious gorgeous photos in the Magazine her personality shines through and she is nothing but funny, classy and down to Earth. She has shown a very comfortable and cool look and knows how simplicity goes a long way. I'm not one to make a big statement and hope for the best; with me, comfortabilty and stability is key when chosing an outfit- I want to wear something which will be suitable all day and won't make me feel out of place. Here are a few pics of my style crush of the week (hopefully you'll see why)
