Christmas...

I have always been one of those people that hate it when people start celebrating Christmas right after Halloween- it's everywhere; in homes, shops on the tv. I'm no Grinch, I love Christmas, but celebrating a whole 2 months ahead will just lessen the excitement and increase the disappointed for when the time does come, no? No! This year I have been converted to a Christmas lover/celebrator/believer before December. It's November 15th and I feel like a child again counting the days till the big 25th. Maybe it is because I am far away from home, maybe it's because I am in London and celebrations are over the top here, and maybe it is because I saw Selfridges windows and couldn't help myself from smiling. Christmas is so beautiful and I love that this time of year it is about, more than anything, love. No matter what worries and problems are in your life just spending that one day with the ones you love make everything worthwhile. So let me be the first this year to wish you a very Merry Christmas for the weeks to come! ♥

London Lights...

I'm so glad that we had a heat filled summer, for the first time in years. And that our Autumn remained pretty warm. But it is officially winter now. The clocks have gone back and it is now dark at 5pm. The coats have been bought and can finally be used. The sandals are packed away and the wellies have returned. But it's okay because winter is lovely. Buying coffees and hot chocolates, wearing hats and scarves and soon a canvas of white will be my view from my window. The first time I felt this winter feeling was a couple of weeks ago, being lucky enough to live in London I got to see the Christmas lights being turned on on Regents Street, and it was magical. As the fireworks coloured the sky and the Christmas lights were switched on, Starbucks in hand and friends around, I thought winter really isn't too bad when you're in a beautiful city like here. Hope you're having a lovely start to winter like me ♥

 

Adverts that are magical...

Hello Start to Christmas 2013, already! I don't know about you, but it's officially Christmas when the Coke Cola advert appears on TV. The sound of 'The holidays are coming...' just sets the mood to the countdown. As of yet, being only November 4th, I have not seen my Coke advert, but here are two beautiful ones (I'm not going to lie, David Gandy was a main reason I liked the M&S advert) that have just been released and show what magic comes with Christmas. If you haven't already seen them, enjoy! ♥

New Year Resolutions...

...are pretty much non existant by March at the latest, but it's always hopeful to believe they could last.

So keeping hope I have had concluded that 2013 will come with the differences of promises made on 1st January 2013. Thinking very Bridget Jones on this topic of post, however starting a diary definitely isn't on the list- as diary no.4 realised it was a struggle to fill.

1. Become fit, healthy and finally feel comfortable with my body. Probably the most popular and most boring of resolutions, yet after Christmas the food goes and routine starts but to a new year means a new start and so exercise and healthy food comes into place- it really is down to lazyness, and I am one of many to be lazy.
2. Dont let others get me down or be afraid to be myself- be happy all the time.
   I'll let you borrow this one too as I
   believe if everyone was happy, kind
   and laid back life would be so much
   more fun! (yes I'm writing this
   watching Mamma Mia- who wouldn't
   want to live in a musical?...occasionally.)  
3. Become organised and do things
   weeks ahead instead of an hour ahead.
   This is mainly related to College work but as I start University in September I want to be able to do this well so work doesn't get on top of me and I can remain ahead of work and not stressed.
4. Document life all the time; Photos every week
   I love photos, the make you remember times, show off your friends and fun you have- probably my favourite resolution and will come into place more from my Birthday on wards- Hello new amazing camera= hello beautiful pictures!
