SS13 Trends...

If you haven't noticed already, the trends for Spring/Summer 2013 are beginning to make an appearance in the shops and this season they are very bright, bold and stand out just a tad- isn't that what this sunny time is all about?
I love Autumn colours; the scarves and boots, and of course Christmas and snow in Winter with wellies and hats but the Summer is my favourite. I like the Spring build up to Summer and I'm looking forward to the exciting things happening this year. Of course 2012 had the olympics and girls holiday which was unforgettable but every year is a new adventure.
I narrowed it down to 4 of the trends for this SS13, I didn't include the trend of 60's and 90's that's coming this year as well as stripes, even though I can't wait to see them in the shop. I wonder if I will be buying in to these following trends, I'm kinda warming to paisley- beautifully random ♥

H & M did good...

So, I was browsing the shops on my lunchbreak and spent a while picking up items in H & M... normally I find 1 piece I 'um and aw' about but I found a selection of items I really wanted! Their Autumn Winter collection is beautiful- definitely a favourite shop this season ♥

OOTD: Dogtooth

I spoke about dogtooth prints (here) being big this season, if you look online and around shops you'll see there are lots of items with the print on. So, of course, I had to go get an item myself! This top was from my collection of shopping I got (here), styled here with red scarf, nails and lipstick I think it fits nicely into my wardrobe

OOTD: Sweater blouse...

It's getting cold! That means 'Hello sweaters, jumpers and scarves!'
My outfit of the day includes my 2 new items that I got a few weeks ago, spoke in the post here, my silky collared and cuffed blouse and light blue jeans.
I appologize now for the crappy photos produced, I was going to find a way to take this photos solo but luckily my brother came home just before the light went and as my camera was dying- A SLR camera with tri-pod for Christmas?
Blouse and sweater combo? Hope you like the outfit ♥

Peter Pan Collar Dress...

I've recently grown an obsession with outfits with a Peter Pan collar. I'm on the look out for a dress with one as I think the blouses and dresses are so cute and girly that it is a must for my wardrobe. I did a post on Vintage wear and how I think that blouses and dresses with frills and collars and buttons look so pretty that I think this Peter Pan collar is very similar- I'm on the lookout and hunting through the shops to add this look to my future outfits. But for now here are the current dresses available ♥

Night Out...

So I'm sick. I have a nasty cold and as a result I am wrapped in a blanked with tissues and chocolate watching dopey romantic films instead of getting ready for a night of drinking and clubbing. But since I'm forced to stay in, here is what I could have worn for a night out.
For me, legs have to be on show, I'm not one to where leggings and jeans when going dancing so dresses, skirts and shorts are my go-to bottoms. The downside to dresses is you can only wear it once or twice a year, where as with skirts and shorts all you have to do is change the top and heels and you've got a brand new outfit, but with a dress it is the 'safe' option and the most girliest! There are too many pretty dresses for me to show you so until another post, here I am just going to show you what looks good on the bottoms. Take a look at what's in store if you're looking for inspiration ♥

The Bodycon Skirt

Available at H&M  (Picture one & Two) or with some glitter available at Topshop

The Pleated Skirt

Available at Forever21 (Picture one and two) or with block colour pink available at miss selfridges

Sequins and lace shorts

Sparkly, sexy sequin shorts are just the perfect party wear, get some like Nicole Scherziner from ASOS

So gorgeous, lace must be the girliest fabric around and I can't wait to get myself a pair of lace shorts like these from River Island.
