Selfies...

For weeks the famous Oscars Selfie by Ellen, whom I love by the way,
has been reconstructed by many. The word 'Selfie' is even in the
Oxford Dictionary now. People hate them, but I love them. They're documented
memories of a time and place which you were involved in.
Not so much the pouty 'in my car' ones or bathroom mirror ones (which I do shamefully admit to doing),
so here I encourage selfies so in 10 years time you remember that memory ♥

Celebrating St. Patricks day on Sunday at Trafalgur Square, London.

Happy St. Patricks Day!!

 

Yesterday I had a great day. I spent a beautiful sunny Sunday in Trafalgar Square, London with thousands of others doing the exact thing; celebrating St. Patricks day. It is today but of course, this is England and it's a Monday so you couldn't close the roads and cause such a riot on a weekday. The weather was gorgeous, my company was great and the day was lovely! I've never really celebrated this Irish tradition but since I'm in England's capital I knew a lot of Irish wouldn't want to let it pass, so I followed the leprechauns in the parade and had a swell time- looking forward to next year! ♥

Christmas...

I have always been one of those people that hate it when people start celebrating Christmas right after Halloween- it's everywhere; in homes, shops on the tv. I'm no Grinch, I love Christmas, but celebrating a whole 2 months ahead will just lessen the excitement and increase the disappointed for when the time does come, no? No! This year I have been converted to a Christmas lover/celebrator/believer before December. It's November 15th and I feel like a child again counting the days till the big 25th. Maybe it is because I am far away from home, maybe it's because I am in London and celebrations are over the top here, and maybe it is because I saw Selfridges windows and couldn't help myself from smiling. Christmas is so beautiful and I love that this time of year it is about, more than anything, love. No matter what worries and problems are in your life just spending that one day with the ones you love make everything worthwhile. So let me be the first this year to wish you a very Merry Christmas for the weeks to come! ♥

Another Girls Holiday...

I'm back!

Sorry for the delay in posts but as you can guess, I've been away on holiday. Me and my two favourite girls went for a quick cheap trip away from England to Gran Canaria, Spain.
I believe that whatever you do, as long as you've got the people you enjoy being with, you experiences and memories will be amazing!

And that's what our holiday was, amazing! We've got such holiday blues as we had the best time and I'm so sad to be back to cloudy UK! :(
Already planning our next holiday for 2014! ♥

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY

To my little, lovely blog! A year ago (2nd April 2012) I began as a blogger. 

Like most it began through my addiction of other blogs and has grown to be a huge passionate project of mine. Documenting my life, interests, fashion and the world in style it has helped me meet you guys with the same interests and loves and most of all sharing kindness! Thank you for visiting, even if I had 0 followers and no one liked it- I haven't quit and I am still as dedicated as I was at the beginning. Blogging takes a lot of time, patience and effort to work and I'm proud of it and the years to come!

Cupcakes...

Happy Good Friday!

I've realised over the past few years I have made cupcakes at Easter? Look at me-I've made a tradition for myself!
Well I won't stop now!
I hope you're Easter is starting fun! What do you think of my cupcakes? ♥

First batch was um...colourful. Strawberry flavoured frosting (one blue one for my dad, I thought it was more manly)

Second batch was my favourite. It was all homemade by me (except the eggs on top) But I was most impressed with them. Yum Yum.

Then I got to lick the bowl. Yay.

Snow for Spring?

Since when does it snow in spring/Summer? It's April in 4 days and there is snow on the ground. This is very depressing after 6 months of rain, wind and under 10degrees of weather I have been counting down the days when I could leave my jacket at home and get an ice cream! :( No luck so far, thank you UK. Easter isn't looking so sunshiney (Yes I made that word up). Hope your easter is nice and sunny. Enjoy it for me? ♥

The Itinerary...

As I've spoken before, me and a friend are taking a trip through Europe to Italy for 3 weeks in July. I'm so excited, it definitely will be a once in a life time/one to remember trip and I definitely am counting down the days. We've decided to take the train to Paris from the UK, spend a few days there then journey to Switzerland to spend a day in the capital, Bern and take the next 2 weeks in the beautiful cultured country, Italy. We've put together a little list that I'm sure will be extended as the months go on. For now I'm just going to give you taster to what's on the list ♥

1. Eat baguettes on the grass facing the Eiffel Tower, Paris. 
2. Go window-shopping in the city (try not to buy designer stuff- this includes Louboutin heels!) Paris
3. Try snails and froglegs- even if it sounds grossly off-putting, Paris.
4. Go on the canal ride in Central Martins, Paris. 
5. Go wild on chocolates in Switzerland.
6. Go on a bike ride to see the stunning landscape in Switzerland.
7. Do a romantic boat ride on the canals in Venice
8. Buy a painting, Venice
9. Visit Juliets balcony in Verona
10. Have our homemade proper Italian Pizza for dinner, Verona
11. Have Italian coffee in the city where Starbucks CEO was inspired, Milan
12. Have cocktails in a swanky bar, Milan
13. Find a bargain Italian made bag from a flea market, Milan
14. Take a bus tour around Rome
15. Visit the Collaseum, Rome
16. Throw a coin into the Trevi Fountain, Rome 
17. Take a horse and carriage ride after Pasta, Rome
18. Try every flavour of Gelato, Rome
19. Sunbathe next to the Ocean, Naples. 
20. Screw the train and get a flight home, Naples. 

2012 for the last time...

It's officially 1st January 2013. I can't quite believe it as it still feels only half a year in to 2012. As every year has ups and downs 2012 has been one to remember for a lifetime, especially being a Brit it sure is special. While I look forward to this year ahead, the new challenges, differences and scary changes it's exciting to know how my life is developing but also very fightening to know how fast I'm growing up- that's life I guess. One important thing I'm thankful for and looking forward to advancing this year is my little special blog. There may be thousands of them, some more popular than others and some never even looked at, but as a document of my life and the little world around me I thank you for looking, liking and sharing it with me. Let 2013 be an amazing year for you and open you to new experiences and life worthy excitement.

Celebrating New Years with my best friend and our close friends, one of which I have spent the past 3 NYE's with her and her boyfriend- "Kind of romantic" he told me.

I turned 18; officially an adult and legal to do the things I had already done for a few years before...

12 girls, one unforgetable fun holiday with my favourites.
Goodbye meal to the girls going off to University and not seeing each other every week like normal. This was a dinner with lots of tears.
My big brothers graduation was a very proud moment, for him to succeed so well of course makes me look up to him as someone to follow.

The last December home led to a quiet time with the family.
