Visit to ASOS...

A few weeks ago I was lucky enought to visit ASOS hq as part of my uni course. I knew I'd love it but I have grown an forever staying crush on this company. As one of the(if not the main) top fashion retailers in UK, and growing globally, ASOS also work ethically with their products and are choosing sustainability offers to their customers- this was the talk i was fortunate to be given. It was African themed and with the live jam session and collection showing off the African culture, I tried to take in as much as I could from the company in the short time I had. I hope to visit again sometime, maybe for an interview? hint hint ASOS ♥

Seeing Stripes...

It is definitely obvious that stripes are a trend for SS13. I don't know if it is because I knew it was coming into fashion this season or that shops have decided to go OTT with their blacks and whites. But walking by, in and online shops I see it in a 360degrees view. Thats okay though. I quite like it. Make sure to get it right though; choose cute sailor not criminal prisoner ;) ♥

SS13 Trends...

If you haven't noticed already, the trends for Spring/Summer 2013 are beginning to make an appearance in the shops and this season they are very bright, bold and stand out just a tad- isn't that what this sunny time is all about?
I love Autumn colours; the scarves and boots, and of course Christmas and snow in Winter with wellies and hats but the Summer is my favourite. I like the Spring build up to Summer and I'm looking forward to the exciting things happening this year. Of course 2012 had the olympics and girls holiday which was unforgettable but every year is a new adventure.
I narrowed it down to 4 of the trends for this SS13, I didn't include the trend of 60's and 90's that's coming this year as well as stripes, even though I can't wait to see them in the shop. I wonder if I will be buying in to these following trends, I'm kinda warming to paisley- beautifully random ♥

Boyfriend Jeans...

Yay! I love this style. Definitely can't wait to invest in this item this Spring!
Since I saw Rachel Bilson wear hers (kind of a statement of hers) I've always wanted to grab a pair. Such a casual look with intense style makes an outfit orginial and laid back. Seeing others follow my obsession I can't wait to join in the trend ♥

Rachel Bilson, Zoe Salanda, Rosie Huntington Whitely.

Booties...

My boots are on the way out, they've been a gorgeous perfect pair keeping my feet cosy and warm this past year. But to replace them I can't decide if I want chunky heel ankle booties or knee high flat boots.I think my style is very fickle and when I see something I like I want to wear it right away. Hopefully I'll come to some decision and have luck on my side to find a cute pair to follow my trusted oldies ♥

    Night Out...

So I'm sick. I have a nasty cold and as a result I am wrapped in a blanked with tissues and chocolate watching dopey romantic films instead of getting ready for a night of drinking and clubbing. But since I'm forced to stay in, here is what I could have worn for a night out.
For me, legs have to be on show, I'm not one to where leggings and jeans when going dancing so dresses, skirts and shorts are my go-to bottoms. The downside to dresses is you can only wear it once or twice a year, where as with skirts and shorts all you have to do is change the top and heels and you've got a brand new outfit, but with a dress it is the 'safe' option and the most girliest! There are too many pretty dresses for me to show you so until another post, here I am just going to show you what looks good on the bottoms. Take a look at what's in store if you're looking for inspiration ♥

So gorgeous, lace must be the girliest fabric around and I can't wait to get myself a pair of lace shorts like these from River Island.
