Playing Dress up...Midi Skirts...

I have a new love. Midi skirts. I don't know why I don't have loads! They're so gorgeous, feminine and easy to wear, I do picture Audrey Hepburn when ever i think about them but then I think, she was gorgeous and feminine.Being so on trend it's so simple to see why timeless pieces like these come back into fashion. Being seen in Vogue for the first time in the 50's and Dior creating the curvy silhouette of this skirt just goes to show how easy it can make a woman look classy, confident and full of charisma with flat pumps or a court heel, for work or a walk to the shops- definitely a must have piece on my Christmas list ♥

Christmas...

I have always been one of those people that hate it when people start celebrating Christmas right after Halloween- it's everywhere; in homes, shops on the tv. I'm no Grinch, I love Christmas, but celebrating a whole 2 months ahead will just lessen the excitement and increase the disappointed for when the time does come, no? No! This year I have been converted to a Christmas lover/celebrator/believer before December. It's November 15th and I feel like a child again counting the days till the big 25th. Maybe it is because I am far away from home, maybe it's because I am in London and celebrations are over the top here, and maybe it is because I saw Selfridges windows and couldn't help myself from smiling. Christmas is so beautiful and I love that this time of year it is about, more than anything, love. No matter what worries and problems are in your life just spending that one day with the ones you love make everything worthwhile. So let me be the first this year to wish you a very Merry Christmas for the weeks to come! ♥

London Lights...

I'm so glad that we had a heat filled summer, for the first time in years. And that our Autumn remained pretty warm. But it is officially winter now. The clocks have gone back and it is now dark at 5pm. The coats have been bought and can finally be used. The sandals are packed away and the wellies have returned. But it's okay because winter is lovely. Buying coffees and hot chocolates, wearing hats and scarves and soon a canvas of white will be my view from my window. The first time I felt this winter feeling was a couple of weeks ago, being lucky enough to live in London I got to see the Christmas lights being turned on on Regents Street, and it was magical. As the fireworks coloured the sky and the Christmas lights were switched on, Starbucks in hand and friends around, I thought winter really isn't too bad when you're in a beautiful city like here. Hope you're having a lovely start to winter like me ♥

Visit to ASOS...

A few weeks ago I was lucky enought to visit ASOS hq as part of my uni course. I knew I'd love it but I have grown an forever staying crush on this company. As one of the(if not the main) top fashion retailers in UK, and growing globally, ASOS also work ethically with their products and are choosing sustainability offers to their customers- this was the talk i was fortunate to be given. It was African themed and with the live jam session and collection showing off the African culture, I tried to take in as much as I could from the company in the short time I had. I hope to visit again sometime, maybe for an interview? hint hint ASOS ♥

Adverts that are magical...

Hello Start to Christmas 2013, already! I don't know about you, but it's officially Christmas when the Coke Cola advert appears on TV. The sound of 'The holidays are coming...' just sets the mood to the countdown. As of yet, being only November 4th, I have not seen my Coke advert, but here are two beautiful ones (I'm not going to lie, David Gandy was a main reason I liked the M&S advert) that have just been released and show what magic comes with Christmas. If you haven't already seen them, enjoy! ♥

The Pink Coat...

I don't know if it's because of my University course, because I like to shop or just because it has been in most fashion news. But it is obvious to say, the pink coat is the main focal trend for this season. Since September when Autumn/Winter wear has been approaching the shops, outerwear is the main garment customers will be buying new. And the trend predicted from designers such as Simone Rocha, JW Anderson etc has been this look of pink! It's everywhere. I actually love the light bright pastel colour for such a dreary cold season that consist of blacks, maroons and greys. It's fresh and its new! M&S had sold out so fast with their pink coat being the most wanted item in the few weeks it was promoted. I look forward to seeing it around, hope you trendy ones bought yours already! ♥

University...

Three weeks ago (shamingly probably when I last wrote a post), I made the biggest jump of my life and started university- new people, new start, new surroundings. The reason it was SO huge is because I'm studying at University of Westminster- I'm living in London!
And I'm LOVING it! I honestly believe any other uni and I would want to go home, but hey- it's London! The fashion capital of not only my country England, but one of the best in the world! I am so privileged and so grateful to be here, I have definitely been adopted by this amazing place for not only the 4 years I will be studying/working here, but probably the rest of my life. Hello new home! ♥

Can't get enough of Forever21...

Soo... I'm an English girl born and bred, and my favourite brand is American- I can't get enough of forever21! I've made 2 orders in the same week- one just wasn't enough!
Only a few stores opened up in England, luckily for me one was in Birmingham (which is closer to me at the moment than London) so I got to benefit from the gorgeous décor, sparkled marble floor oh, and their clothes of course. Since it opened I have become a truly faithful customer and to be honest a bit of an addict...
Here's just a handful of what I ordered the other week. ♥

Miller and Carter...

A favourite meal that this family has are Steaks, so when the opportunity to have a free meal arrived- we sure as hell took it! And what a lovely meal it was. As I've never been to Miller and Carter before, it was nice to see around Birmingham Broad Street for a cocktail before dinner. I do like steak, but not a huge fan- and if I've not already told you guys, I am a lover of burgers and try to find an amazing one whenever I can. Unfortunately I forgot my camera this night, so hope the phone pics will suffice. Thanks Miller & Carter ♥

The Cotswolds Countryside...

A few weeks ago my family and I decided to walk the dogs in the Cotswolds area near where we live, lots of green basically! The dogs loved it and it was nice to be outside in the fresh area looking over fields- especially as I know in a few weeks I will be looking at concrete and buildings and very little countryside! ♥
